How is BerthRight different from “the other ones”?
Three things. First, we don't take a percentage of your reservations — we charge a flat monthly fee depending on slip count. Second, no paid add-ons. We turn on the modules you actually run. Third, it's built and branded for your marina. Your customers see your name, not ours. Bonus: We are WAY more affordable than “the other ones.”
What does “white-label” actually include?
Per-tenant primary brand color, sidebar color, logo, font selection, and login page background. Receipts and portal mail can show your marina name. Sign-in codes still come from BerthRight. Your marina lives at a branded subdomain (e.g. yourmarina.berthright.app).
How does billing work? Are there hidden fees?
You pay one monthly fee — starting at $50 — based on slip count. Stripe charges its standard processing fee on credit card and ACH payments. We don't charge any kind of per transaction fee. No setup fees, no per-seat charges, no contracts beyond month-to-month.
Can my staff and customers actually use this?
The interface follows modern conventions: mobile-first layouts, focus states, real input fields. Customer portal is designed for slip holders who don't want to download an app. Staff can be onboarded in an afternoon — most operations are a single click from the slip map.
What about migrations from our existing system?
We'll load customers, vessels, and slips from a spreadsheet. You can also stand up a dock of slips in one click.
How is my data protected?
Tenant-isolated PostgreSQL with strict marinaId scoping on every query. Clerk manages sign-in, recovery, sessions, and optional MFA. All payment data flows through Stripe — we never store card numbers.
